Unfortunately, the talk planned for February had to be cancelled, owing to a bad road traffic crash. Not mine! So, the club have kindly organised an alternative day. I’m looking forward to a return visit to this friendly, enthusiastic Club. I’ll be giving them ‘The Life and Times of the Shell Channel Pilot’. After 30 years, there are tales of nautical challenges, adventures, and some bureaucratic shenanigans, and plenty of good advice!
